John Madden and film mogul Penny Marshall took the stage at the California Independent Film Festival to revisit a "great" moment in sports history:  the 1979 Celebrity Football Classic. 

In that made-for-TV event, Madden coached Marshall, Billy Crystal, Wilt Chamberlain and other celebrities against a team led by NFL coaching legend George Allen.  As Coach Madden recalls, Allen's strategy was to have  major league baseball player (and former Michigan State football star) Steve Garvey blitz on every play, often bowling Marshall over.
