Henry Mulak

Henry Mulak finished his first newscast for KBPK at Fullerton College back in 1981 where he received his Associate in Arts Degree before moving on to become a department head at KHSU at Humboldt State University where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism in 1984.  Before graduation, Henry had a job as a reporter for KATA/KFMI in Arcata on California's North Coast.  From there he became News Director at KUTY Radio in Palmdale in Northern Los Angeles County. Then, in 1989, Henry accepted a job as News Director at KFMI in Santa Rosa until the station's sale, after which he moved on to KBBK in San Luis Obispo to become News Director while also serving as the San Luis Obispo Bureau Chief for News-Talk station KUHL in Santa Maria.  Family commitments brought him back to the North Bay in 1992 where he 
took over as News Director at KVON/KVYN in Napa.   There he served as President of the Associated Press Television-Radio Association for California and Nevada, organizing the organization's annual convention for broadcast journalists.  Henry was hired as a reporter for KFTY Television in Santa Rosa during this time, after which he took a job with CBS5 before being hired by KRON4 News.  While working for the NBC affiliate, he was hired by KCBS as a reporter.
